Yes, we've received our official letter of acceptance from the adoption agency! We've been assigned a social worker and our first homestudy will be on Sunday, December 14. We really don't know what to expect, but are ready for this next step.
Meanwhile, Eric got in a wreck that totaled his 9 year old car. Thankfully he is fine. Now we have to start shopping for a new family sedan sooner than we expected. I never realized how stressful it is to me to buy a car so I'm hoping we'll get one soon.
We are so thankful for our friends who are praying us through this whole process. I can't believe it's almost been a year since we felt led to start. Hopefully the wait won't be long.

YEAH!!! I have been following your posts, but haven't had a minute to comment. I am praying for you friend. You two are going to be wonderful parents.
Every time we meet Eric in the front, coming or going, he is always so sweet and engaging with the kids. It touches my heart the way he makes sure to look at them and listen to everything they are telling him, even if they have already told him ten times!! Hahahaha!
I know EVERYONE is always very busy these days, but we are grateful to have you as neighbors, neighbor :o) Thanks for the update. We will be praying for the birth Mama that God already has picked out for you!!
