Today, we received word that our application, part one, has been accepted! It felt like we had told our life story in a 20 different documents. I, Janel, was anxious about being accepted. All kinds of doubts plagued me telling me we are not good enough. Please continue to pray for me as we continue this application process as I know I will struggle with those doubts. One thing that gave me peace was knowing that we were not led into this by our emotions, but by God's guidance. And after we made the initial step, He has blessed us in various ways beyond what we thought possible. As if "everything was falling into place".
Now in Part Two, we have to provide documentation to prove various things including medical physicals, criminal records, etc. We also get to write a letter to any birthmother that may look at our profile to determine if we are the right match for their baby.
Thank you for your prayers and support. It really does mean so much to us.
