We've turned in the second part of our application and after approval we will move into the 90 day homestudy part. All I really know about homestudies is they are interviews required by the state - individual and together. At least one will be in our home.
For this last part, we also had to create the profile book for the birthmother. It ended up being in a scrapbook format and the wonderful ladies in our care group at church took charge of this overwhelming project. They scheduled a scrapbooking party! I had such a great time and felt so relieved when I left that night. Now when I look at the 14 page book, I see the love that each person put into each page. You can view it here.

I will post pictures from the actual party soon! For now, here's a picture with this post from our 5th wedding anniversary weekend getaway. Eric surprised me with a night at a B&B and a trip to the state zoo. It was so much fun.
